Religion and Public Life: The Big Debate

Making Politics Matter (MPM) is pleased to invite you to our first major debate of the academic year, Religion and Public Life.

This debate is being held as part of the Economic and social Research Council's week long national Festival of Social Sciences. This debate will draw on social scientific knowledge, asking challenging questions about religion, faith and politics.

Key speakers at this debate will include Professor David McLellan, distinguished Professor of Political Theory; Dr Alexandre Christoyannopoulos, Lecturer in politics and international relations at Loughborough University; and The Very Reverend Nicholas Frayling, Dean at Chichester Cathedral.

The event will take place on Saturday 29th October 2011 from 10 am till 1 pm, at Augustine House, Rhodaus Town, Canterbury Christ Church University, CT1 2YA. Everybody is welcome, with no need to book.
